                                 Beef fry





Ingredients


  • Beef -1 kg

For grinding



  • Garlic chopped -2tbsp.
  • Ginger chopped -2 tbsp.
  • Kashmiri chili powder-2tsp.
  • Turmeric powder – 2 tsp.
  • Pepper powder- ½ tsp.
  • Salt to taste

For frying



  • Medium sized Onion sliced – 1
  • Medium sized tomato sliced- 1
  • Curry leaves – a few
  • Whole red chilies -2
  • Oil -3 tbsp.

Method



  • Grind ginger, garlic, pepper powder, chili powder, turmeric powder and salt to a fine paste.
  • Pressure cook the meat with the ground masala and just enough water to cook it.
  • In a thick bottom frying pan add oil and fry the onion and then add the red chilies and curry leaves.  Keep it aside.
  • In the same oil add tomatoes when it becomes mushy add the cooked beef and fry it in a low flame for about 10 mins (till the color deepens).
  • Transfer it to a serving plate and garnish with fried onions, curry leaves and red chilies.
