Grind ginger, garlic, pepper powder, chili powder, turmeric powder and salt to a fine paste.
Pressure cook the meat with the ground masala and just enough water to cook it.
In a thick bottom frying pan add oil and fry the onion and then add the red chilies and curry leaves. Keep it aside.
In the same oil add tomatoes when it becomes mushy add the cooked beef and fry it in a low flame for about 10 mins (till the color deepens).
Transfer it to a serving plate and garnish with fried onions, curry leaves and red chilies.
