Overnight oats with chia, banana, nectarine and blueberry
Overnight oats can be described as healthy, tasty and easy
meal in a bowl. If you have a busy and hectic day ahead prepare this and keep it
in the fridge. A bowl of this keeps you
very energetic the whole day. Above all you don’t have to cook it, just mix
everything, keep it in individual bowl. The next day this creamy delicious meal
is ready to use. The amount given below
will be good enough for two.
Ingredients
- Whole grain rolled oats- 1 cup
- Skimmed milk/ almond milk-1 cup
- Skimmed yogurt/ Greek yogurt- 1 cup
- Chia seeds – 1 tbsp.
- Nectarine and banana(chopped)-1 cup
- Powdered nutmeg- a pinch
- Blue berry and chopped almonds for garnishing
Method
- Mix everything together except blueberry and chopped almonds, divide it into two equal parts into two glass bowls or two glass jars, close the lid and keep it in the fridge for six to eight hours (minimum four hours).
- Garnish with blueberry and chopped almonds and serve.
