                                   Oats Dosa

This dosa  is made by using less rice and more oats. Try to include whole grain oats in your daily meal because of all the benefits it has.


Ingredients

  • Idli/ dosa rice- 1 cup

  • Oats (whole grain) -3cup

  • udad dal(black gram without husk)-1cup

  • Fenugreek -1/4 tsp.

Method

  •  Wash and soak rice with fenugreek  and also udad dal separately  for four to five hours.

  • Add 4 cups of water to the oats and soak for an hour.

  • Grind Rice, udad dal and oats separately and mix well.

  • Keep it for fermenting for 8 hours in a warm place, add enough salt and make dosa's on a hot tava and serve with sambar or egg roast or chutney.
