Easy chili chicken

When I went to India last time, I cooked and kept food in the fridge for my husband for a week.  The next week he adjusted with outside food and fruits. Then eventually he got fed up by outside food. And for the first time he asked me whether I could teach him any easy recipes. The following is a recipe which I taught him. This is a very easy recipe for beginners without compromising the taste.

Easy chili chicken

Ingredients:
• Whole chicken (cut into medium size pieces) - 1kg
• Onion (chopped) - 3(medium size)
• Capsicum (chopped) - 1(medium size)
• Green chilies (chopped) - 8-10
• Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
• Tomato paste- 100g
• Soya sauce- 1tbs
• Vinegar-1 tbsp.
• Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp.
• Olive oil or sunflower oil- tbsp.
• Salt to taste
• Cilantro chopped for garnishing

Method
• Cook the chicken with salt, soya sauce and vinegar with just enough water to cook it.
• When it gets cold shred the chicken and keep aside
• Add oil in a large pan and sauté onion for 3min.
• Add green chilies and sauté it for a min and add the tomato paste and sauté it for another min
• Now add the chicken, mix everything together properly and add capsicum mix it and switch off the gas

Note:  Be careful while you add salt whenever you are adding soya sauce as it contains more salt.
Do not let the capsicum loose its color {if it is sautéed for long it will lose its color and gives a different taste also). You can add different color capsicums to make it more colorful.
