Brownies



Try these brownies for Christmas. This recipe gives a perfect brownie texture, the exterior is cracked and dry and it is fudgy inside. I tried a lot of recipes to get this perfect brownie.

Ingredients

Unsalted butter-185g
Bitter sweet choolate-185g
All purpose flour-3/4 cup
Cocoa powder-6Tbsp.
Baking powder-3/4tsp.
Salt-1/4tsp.
Sugar-1 ½ cup
Eggs-3
Vanilla essence-1 ½ tsp.

Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius and grease, flour an 8-inch square pan.
Roughly cut the butter into an inch square pieces and break the chocolate into pieces. Put it in a microwaveable bowl.
Microwave it in high for 1 ½ minutes, stirring it every 30 seconds (until melted).
Sieve together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Repeat the process two to three times.
Take a large bowl and beat together sugar and eggs until well combined.
Add in the chocolate mixture and mix well. Then add the flour mixture and whisk well until combined.
Transfer it into the greased pan and bake it for 40 to 45 minutes, until a tooth pick inserted comes out with a few crumbs attached.
Cool it on a wire rack, invert the pan on a cutting board, cut out 16 brownies of 2-inch square size.
