Egg shahshuka is a Tunisian Arabic poached egg dish. Usually taken as a breakfast dish along with bread.
 
  
  
Ingredients
  
  • Oil-1 tbsp.
  • Onion finely chopped-1 (medium)
  • Garlic minced-1/2 pod
  • Bell pepperchopped-1
  • Tomatoes chopped-2(medium)
  • Chili powder-1 tsp
  • Ground cumin-1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder-1 1/2 tsp
  • Chili flakes to taste
  • Ground black pepper-1/2tsp
  • Eggs-3
  • Fresh parsley/cilantro for garnish
Method
  •  Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat .Add onion and cook for 5 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  • Then add in the bell pepper and wait till it softens.
  • Add in the tomato and all the masalas and let it reduce for 5-7 min.
  • Make little openings in the mixture for the egg and crack in the egg and cover and cook until eggs are done.
