Chocolate chip cupcake with butter cream frosting
Ingredients:
For the cake:
• Butter-100g
• All-purpose flour-1 ½ cup
• Sugar-1cup
• Baking powder-1 ½ tsp.
• Salt-1tsp
• Whole milk - ½cup
• Eggs-2(yolk and whites separated)
• Vanilla essence-1tsp
• Chocolate chips-1/2 cup
For the frosting
• Butter- 100g
• Icing sugar-200 g
• Whole milk-1tbsp
• Vanilla essence-1tsp
Method:
• Sift together flour salt and baking powder.
• In a bowl add butter and powdered sugar, cream it together using an electric beater to a dropping
consistency.
• Add in egg yolks and milk.Beat it in a low speed till everything is incorporated.
• Add the flour little by little.Mix everything well then add essence and chocolate chips.
• Whisk the egg whites to stiff in a separate bowl and stir it gently to the cake mixture.
• Spoon it into paper cups and bake it for 15 to 20 min at 180 degree Celsius.
For the frosting:
• Cream together the butter and icing sugar with an electric whisk until it is white and fluffy.
• Add the essence ,milk and mix it in a low speed.
• Take this in a piping bag and decorate it on the cupcakes which is at room temperature.
Note :- I got 15 cup cakes with the given amount. Make sure to put the frosting on the cake when the cake is at room temperature.
