Today I would like to share with you my all-time favorite vegetarian dish .This dish I prepared with the Tefal Actifry. When I bought Tefal Actifry a year back, I didn't think it would be that useful. Now, I use it almost every day and I am happy that I bought it. This recipe is made using it .If you do not have one you can make it without using Actifry by adding more oil
Ingredients:
• Oyster mushroom (cut into strips)-150gm
• Potato (cut into 1cm cubes) 150gm
• Coriander powder -1/2 tsp.
• Turmeric powder-1/2tsp
• Garam masala -1/4tsp
• Peppercorns-1/2tsp
• Garlic-4cloves
• Olive oil-11/2tsp
• Salt to taste
Method:
• Boil the potato with salt till it is just cooked.
• Crush the peppercorns along with garlic
• In a pan heat oil and add the crushed pepper garlic mixture and sauté for half a min
• Then add the mushroom along with the cooked potato and the coriander turmeric and Garam masala powders. Now the oyster mushroom starts leaving the water. Cook till all the water gets evaporated. Now transfer it to the Tefal A+ctifry and fry it for 3 to 4 mins till golden brown.
Note: If you are not using Tefal Actifry use 2tbs of oil and simmer the gas, fry it for 10 to 12 min or so.
If you don't have Garam masala you can make it at home.
Take half a cup of fennel seeds , 6 cinnamon sticks (1 inch each) , 10 cardamoms,10 cloves , 1 nut meg , 3 to 4 aniseeds and dry roast it for 1 to 2 min and powder it . And store it in an airtight container.
