This is one of the recipe which I learnt when I started cooking. I still remember asking my mother this recipe.
This recipe is used almost every now and then in my household. You can use it either as a side dish with rice or as a main dish with salads

 


Fish fry (Kerala style)

Ingredients:
•         Fish: 1/2 kg
•         Chili powder: 2-3 tsp.
•         Pepper powder: 1 1/2 tsp.
•         Turmeric powder: 1/2tsp
•         Rice flour: 1 tbsp.
•         Ginger garlic paste: 1 tbsp.
•         Lemon: 1 tsp.
•         Salt to taste

 Method:
•         Clean the fish. Add lemon juice and salt and ginger garlic paste. Rub it all over the fish. Then mix together chili powder, pepper powder and turmeric powder and rice flour and coat evenly over the fish and deep fry the fish.

Note:You can use any type of fish for this recipe.  While cleaning the fish add lemon juice or lime juice to the final water to remove the smell.
