Bruschetta is an Italian snack using French bread (baguette), which can be made in minutes!! It is pronounced as “brusketta”.
Note: - make sure to use red and firm tomatoes
Ingredients
- Whole wheat Baguette -1o pieces (cut into an inch thick)
- Garlic minced-2tsp.
- Tomatoes chopped-1 (medium size) refer note
- Enoki mushroom chopped-1/2 cup
- Parsley chopped-1tbsp
- Pepper-1/4 tsp.
- Vinegar-1/4 tsp
- Olive oil -1tbsp. +1 tsp.
- Salt to taste
Method
Preheat oven at 180 degree
Meanwhile heat a pan in a low flame add olive oil and then add minced garlic and switch off the stove.
Leave it for a minute so that garlic releases its flavor into the oil
Brush one side of the baguette with this oil and bake it for 5 minutes
Add remaining teaspoon of oil to the pan and add enoki mushroom and stir for 30seconds and add pepper and stir for another 10 seconds.
Switch off the stove and add all the other ingredients.
Top it onto the toasted baguettes and serve hot.
